Follow-Up on Antisocial Punishment Study at Sogang University, South Korea

After completing data collection in Egypt and the UK, lab experiments were launched on 23rd May at Sogang University in South Korea.

HONORLOGIC Research Fellow, Dr. Shuxian Jin, has been coordinating the experiments with the local team at Sogang University, receiving substantial support. Contributions include those from Professor Jinkwon Lee, the Center Director at the Sogang Experimental Economics Laboratory (SEE Lab), as well as Lab Manager Yongwoo Lee and Research Assistant Junhee Kim, who serve as experimenters in all sessions. Additionally, Professor Jinkyung Na from the Department of Psychology and his PhD student, Inyoung Lee, have provided extensive support during the ethics approval application and materials translation processes.

University students have been recruited to ensure a sample that reflects comparable social backgrounds across different countries. All study materials have been translated into Korean. This phase at Sogang University is crucial in providing comparative insights that will enhance our understanding of how culture influences cooperation and antisocial punishment in different societies.
