


HONORLOGIC Team was busy presenting project findings at the latest European Association of Social Psychology General Meeting.
Ayşe K. Üskül organized a symposium titled “‘Novel Directions in Honor Research?” as part of which Dr Alexander Kirchner-Häusler delivered a presentation on “The cultural logics of honor, face and dignity in Southern-Europe and the MENA region.” Dr Shuxian Jin presented a poster describing recent data on “Cultural logic of honor, competition and coordination”. Prof. Charis Psaltis from Cyprus gave a blitz talk entitled “Values endorsement and preferences for transitional justice: The moderating role of apology effectiveness beliefs”. Finally, Ayşe K. Üskül presented findings on “Patterns of independence and interdependence in Mediterranean societies.” as part of a symposium organized by Viv Vignoles titled “Globalizing Social Psychology: Insights from Beyond the East-West Cultural Binary”.
