Stefano Pagliaro is Associate Professor in Social Psychology at the University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy.
His main research interests relate to social perception and group dynamics. In particular, he is interested in understanding the way in which moral concerns regulate interpersonal, intragroup and intergroup dynamics. This research is conducted both in laboratory contexts and in real contexts, e.g. within organizations.
The investigation of ethical climate and leadership processes in organizations represents recent developments in his research, which is undertaken in collaboration with colleagues and PhD students. A different line of research is devoted to the understanding and prevention of violence against women.
Stefano is a member of the editorial board of the following journals: Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Social Issues and Policy Review, European Journal of Social Psychology and the Journal of Personality & Social Psychology: Interpersonal Relations and Group Processes (JPSP: IRGP).
